Fact for the day: What do you call a group of…?
The other night I was talking with my neighbor across the street. She was telling me about the bats that fly around their house every night. I had never seen them, or at least noticed that they were bats, and we began discussing what a group of bats is called. We could not remember and vowed to go inside and google it. Well, that was a few nights ago. Then, my niece and I were visiting Meijer Gardens and saw the name for a group of turtles. We went to share that with our neighbor and forgot. So we had to look that up too. I finally got around to googling it and found this very interesting website http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/about/faqs/animals/names.htm
I wanted to share it with you as a fun fact. Use it wisely, use it often. Remember this: you learn something new every day!
